The Phaser is an offensive support tower obtained from the Wave 0000000 Event, specifically Rank 14 in the battlepass. It has on unique interactive ability gained at level 5, "Overcharge". A special ability which gives Phaser extra boosts. Its main type is laser damage, and ignores laser resistant enemies on its fourth upgrade. Phaser also has a unique mechanic, charge. The charge mechanic makes the tower only shoot for a limited amount of time, and have then having to reload. The tower's base charge time is 3.0 Seconds, while having to shoot lasts for 10.0 Seconds.

Golden Warship (April fools)

The Golden Warship is a formidable naval tower that starts off as a yellow X-5 Warship. It can only be placed in large bodies of water, limiting the number of maps that it is able to be placed on. The Golden Warship has a whopping 1,000,000 DPS, but an 11 second aim time. Additionally, the Golden Warship is the only tower to not have any upgrade paths. Finally, in a cruel twist of fate, the Golden Warship instantly sinks upon placing it as the density of gold is much higher than water, causing it to sink.
The Golden Warship has no upgrades.
- Placing this tower is a waste of cash.
Endless mode later waves revamp (87 or something and up)
An X-5 Warship does not ignore explosive resistance.
X-4 XWM Turret no longer ignores bullet resistance and 5-X turret no longer has stun immunity. In exchange, on a 5-X XWM, it gradually (over the course of 15 seconds, 5 seconds when 5-X) has its firerate raise from 800 DPS to a maximum of 1,300 DPS, although it has to cool down for 10 seconds after firing for 40 seconds straight. Downed Once rebuild time reduced to 20 seconds, Downed Twice rebuild time reduced to 40 seconds, dies when dying for the third time.
Multiplier T now multiplies enemies by 5, gives them a 150% speed boost, stealths them and is able to clone other multipliers; Multiplier X is able to clone already cloned bosses (maybe it does this in game?)

The Marauder is the first exclusive and first boss to appear in Nightmare Mode, debuting on Wave 40. It is the fourth of the series of Predators created by Dr. Xenon, and is one of the only predators, to have multiple attacks at its disposal, including Heavy Weaponry, and a laser axe on its back. Additionally, it can also call-in predators at 10000 hp, making a hard foe to come across.
The Marauder has 1 biological arm, and mechanical arm, one with a blaster attached to it. The other has wires and cables all across it. Additionally, the robotic arm has hatches that look similar to Eradicator MK IV's grenade hatches.

- Make sure the Warship can attack with all of its weapons. Do this by rotating to broadside the ship, so all turrets and weapons can have line of sight.
- Despite how powerful Warship is, it is not a free win ticket.
- Its slow fire rate at every level can be detrimental if one only relies on Warships.
- Beware of enemies with explosion resistance. No upgrades of Warship can bypass this.

This is a concept for a tower called the “Necromancer” in TDX. In TDX, almost every weapon is based off of irl military weaponry, and this might not be part of a military weapon or anything, but nonetheless it’s still a tower concept I’m proud of. "Which tower is better post" is kinda dumb
John said it himself: he wants all towers to have a purpose, and by that, he means that no one tower nullifies the existence of another. This is not like TDS, where some towers just outclass others completely in every single way. Everyone tower, at least one path, has a purpose, and that purpose cannot be found by another tower.
Even towers with similar purposes will have a way of differing themselves somehow. E.g. grenadier and missile trooper, one is a early game defence which can be turned into a support tower later, and the other is a mid-late game killer of one boss plus a lot of enemies or a constant bombardment of grenades at a much higher price.
Each tower is unique, and each serve their own purpose. There wouldn't be, say, a ranger,…

if you think editing tower stats is easy? then your are kinda wrong and right because in some tower defense wikis like tds, some of the devs would help out with the wiki to yk get some images for the wiki users etc. Still, for tdx, john is always busy cause of the bi-weekly updates, etc, meaning no one can even help out with the wiki at all but only the players can. it's pretty stressful to get the tower stats cause you got to defend while getting the stats, I mean yea you can take pics but it takes up my gb by lot.... still it's not an easy thing to do unless you are a dev whose willing to help out the wiki.
but still it's pretty annoying if your looking at a tower page and think (i wonder what stats they have) only to meet with every stat…
