Description

Christmas I Nightmare is the harder version of Christmas I and is the first nightmare gamemode in the 2024 XMAS Event. Almost every enemy it features has shield. It features some enemies from Endless Mode such as the Avatar and Eradidog and also uses enemies from the 2023 XMAS Event, such as the return of Nightmare Exo Santa and Multiplier X. This gamemode can only be played on the Arctic Research Base map, which has a Normal difficulty.

The Burnt Ginger D.R.E.A.D. is the main boss of this gamemode. It boasts an arsenal of high-damage attacks with exceptional AOE along with high health. It also has a second phase that makes it faster with a deadly laser. However, despite all that, the Burnt Ginger D.R.E.A.D. is not that hard to take down and serves as a victory lap after defeating the stealthed Eradidogs that appear on the penultimate wave.

Tips

• On Wave 24, two stealthed Eradidogs appear and can easily rush past the defenses. To counter this, getting multiple towers that can stun, such as X-5 Grenadiers, and upgrades allowing the defense to spot stealth enemies are recommended.
