Description[]
Elite Mode is a step up from of Easy Mode with it requiring players to have better towers rather than Ranger. This mode has an abundance of enemies, requiring players to invest in towers with good crowd controlling capabilities, such as Artillery. This mode introduces players to Multiplier 3, a stronger variant of the Multipliers that is able to fully heal and significantly boost the speed of its clones. The Revived Plague Doctor is the final boss of this mode. It is a much stronger version of the Plague Doctor from Easy Mode, with it now able to deal damage to towers and summon stronger enemies with various resistances.
Tips[]
- Bottom Path Cryo Blasters are heavily recommended if players tend to struggle with Revived Abominations.
- Cryo Blasters could also freeze the boss, albeit EDJ's encore required.
- Splash damage towers such as the Shotgunner, Missile Trooper or Artillery are essential for taking down hordes of enemies due to the appearance of Multiplier 3s.
- Alternatively, players may also set their tower's targeting to "Strongest" to prevent enemies from triggering Multiplier 3's multiplication ability upon it dying, but this requires no splash/pierce, and is very impractical to do.
- Barracks are great for early-to-mid game, but players should not rely on them as their main source of DPS.
- Bottom Path Patrol Boats are great for dealing with hordes.
- For rushes such as the Revived Abomination rush on Wave 26, Grenadier's Bottom Path is exceptional at slowing the enemies, allowing grouping, and letting splash towers like Artillery get more value with explosive attacks.
- Top Path Missile Troopers and Bottom Path Artilleries can help when dealing with crowds of Revived Abominations.
- Farming is not recommended for this game mode due to the rapid difficulty ramp-up as well as the higher cash gain from later waves, making the Farm redundant.
- Top Path Missile Troopers and Bottom Path Juggernauts are great for dealing with Revived Plague Doctor.
- Top Path Operators can serve as decent substitutes for Juggernauts.
- For the Revived Plague Doctor's summons, it is advised to use towers that aren't affected by bullet and explosion resistance, such as Laser Gunner, John, and Bottom Path Artillery.
- Medic is not needed, as the Revived Plague Doctor's attacks are miniscule, and some Juggernauts could easily tank the shots while dealing major DPS.

Trivia[]
- This mode has the least stealthed enemies out of all of the gamemodes..
- Elite Mode was originally intended to be a "plus" version of Easy Mode.
- Advisor suggests the usage of the Missile Trooper and that Ranger is not recommended for this mode.
- Multiplier 1 does not appear in this mode; it starts from Multiplier 2.
- It is possible to solo Elite Mode with just ranger, though this requires immense skill to pull off.
- Despite Advisor saying that numerous Chained appear on Wave 12, no Chained zombies appear.
- This is the hardest mode you can beat with Ranger[2], albeit with rewinds.
