This was part of the 2023 XMAS Event. As of 21/01/2024, the event has concluded.

Overview[]

Santa's Stronghold is the first event map. This map has quite a long, curvy path that takes many turns and crosses over a river.

Design[]

Tips[]

  • It is advised to use towers with long range to cover the turns apparent throughout the map.
  • It is advised to use Juggernauts in order to kill Exo Santa and Nightmare Exo Santa efficiently.
  • Placing towers at the back of the map is advised, especially in XMAS Nightmare, as many enemies could run past the towers at the front of the map. In particular, Exo Santa and their spawns may end up crossing the bridge, so towers in the back are important.
  • Due to the length of the map, units from the Barracks will be able to stack after a while, increasing your firepower.

Interactive Map[]

Trivia[]

  • There is an Easter Egg where there are cows trapped in cages somewhere on the map.
    • This is a reference to how the map Cow Annoyance got removed, albeit temporarily, in the same update that Santa's Stronghold had been added.
  • Towards the end of the map, there is a snowman wearing John's apparel.
  • Near the edge of the map towards one of the large towers, there is a Michigan Wolverines logo.
  • If you jump down the hole behind your base, you'll get to the assets baseplate.
  • There is a frozen Super Naughty.
  • Despite being unable to play any of the main gamemodes on the map, it was still listed in the Maps section of the in-game Achievements menu when medals were first added in the Endless Mode update. It would be promptly be removed from the list in a later patch due to it being impossible to collect the aforementioned medals.
