Description[]

The Z.E.D. Level 4 is a unit that is spawned by the Z.E.D. at upgrade 4. It is an upgraded version of Z.E.D. Level 3, with more health, DPS, and range and with the same spawnrate as its predecessor. Z.E.D. Level 4 is the predecessor to Z.E.D. Level 5.

Appearance[]

The Z.E.D Level 4 shares a similar appearance with Z.E.D. Level 3, but with the mounted guns replaced with quad rocket pods and having neon cyan accents around it and the barrels. Mounted metal parts also become larger and smoother along with the black wires. The body regains its front minigun, but with it becoming much larger, having seven barrels, and having neon cyan accents on the end of the barrels. Additionally, on the side of the body reads "M11," the tracks have black accents on the side, the piloting area becomes fully enclosed with glass, and the control panel now contains more different colors.

Strategies[]

  • Due to Z.E.D Level 4's range and high DPS, it can easily deal with Enemies that even the M1X Abrams would struggle on.
    • This is due to the Z.E.D. Level 4 being able to manage consistent high DPS with its minigun, rather than the slow, powerful shots of the M1X Abrams main cannon.
  • Despite all its futuristic tech, Z.E.D. Level 4 cannot detect stealth. This is especially an issue with enemies like stealth Elite Grenadier or stealth Specter.
    • Z.E.D Level 4 will only be able to damage those enemies with collision damage or indirectly damage them with splash damage from its rockets if a non-stealth enemy is nearby.
  • Because Z.E.D. Level 4 has a below average spawnrate of 50 seconds, Z.E.D. Level 4 has more flexibility than other Units from other Towers such as Armored Factory, and as such, Z.E.D. Level 4 performs better on shorter maps compared to them.
    • This does not mean the player should get Z.E.D. Level 4 on maps where spawner towers are not advisable, as with those maps, 50 seconds or less may be all it takes for Enemies to get through.

Trivia[]

  • If you look close enough, you can see that the operator's arm sticks out of the window, this is most likely a mistake, and John/GDILIVES either did not notice or did not care to change it.
