Description[]

The Zealot is the unit unlocked from purchasing a Level 2 Relic. They're relatively strong for their price, being a decent early game unit good for cleaning up alongside fellow Bandits. However, their impact dwindles as waves get harder.

Appearance[]

The Zealot is an undead humanoid with decaying skin and a mildly angry expression with lifeless eyes. It wears brown robes with beige accents covering most of its body, a dirty brown scarf around its mouth, tattered brown pants, and black shoes. It wields a greatsword with a large green crystal ingrained into its guard.

Strategies[]

  • Zealots can be used as a cheap cleanup unit, and 2 Relics can create a decent supply of units with Zealots and Bandits alone.
  • Zealots are ineffective against fast units, like the Resurrected Armored Ranger, which can become a problem later on.
  • Eventually, the Zealots will becomes another waste of space unit, with insignificant damage or health to be of much use.

Trivia[]

  • Zealots wear the same clothes as the Archer.
  • Despite the upgrade being called "Knights", the Zealot looks nothing like one, and doesn't have the same name.
  • The Zealot name is inspired by the Overseer Zealot, a higher-ranked Knight in their ranks.

Update History[]

  • 25 October 2024
    • The Zealot was added to the game as part of the Relic.
